Credit Unions acting like Banks

I’ve been hearing all the benefits of credit unions vs banks and that credit unions are owned by the members, etc. and for the benefit of the members. In my experience more and more Credit Unions act or are acting much like banks. They want to charge extra fees on fees, and they want you to invest thru them (One of Clarks pet of not to use banks to invest). I keep getting all this advertisement from them trying to sell me accident and hospital insurance and life insurance. The line between credit unions and bank is really blurry.

I use 3 different CU’s. One is just like this. It drives me crazy! CSAA does this, too. My other two CU’s don’t.Try Pen Fed.
