Not to be confused with AMERITRADE, who are good guys.
I have dealt with many brokerage houses in the past, but Ameriprise is positively the WORST. Nearly impossible to talk to a human being on the phone.
I have a substantial amount of money marooned in my late mother’s account. They have a wrong date for her Trust. They absolutely will not budge in giving me the money owed me in her will, despite sending them tons of requested paperwork from my sister and I. Had to file a complaint against them with the SEC.
Don’t know how these jokers stay in business. $25 for online trades to boot. Who would pay this much for online trades AND lousy service?
