> A million two-factor authentication codes sent via SMS passed through an obscure third-party company. Here's how it happened and why it's a problem.

Why can’t I remove, disable, or lock wire transfers, international or otherwise? Anything that is not reversible from your bank account should be removed. 2025, why are we still having to deal with this? I love Wells Fargo; every time money moves, I get a text. lock down accounts, ETC.

girl, I agree with most of what you say. However you know what Clark thinks of Wells Fargo. I think all banks now offer alerts on their accounts. You just have to login to your account, look up alerts and enable them. It’s not exclusive to Wells F.

Also, most credit cards let you “freeze” them. Also alerts with them too. When I use my CC’s I get an alert that it has been used. If a thief uses your credit card you know right away.
