I have VTSAX. It has performed well for me. Also consider VBIAX. Vanguard has a roboadvisor that is very inexpensive. They also have a more expensive but still reasonable Personal Advisor management system, which I use for part of my funds. You can answer their questionnaire to see what is best for you. Once you retire, you are restricted to P.A. P.A. will arrange a phone call with an advisor and a written plan for you before you even sign up, so theoretically, you could opt out yet still follow the plan. Iāve had target funds in my retirement account for many years. They seem okay but I probably could have done better. I bought them before I had a clue about investing.
Iāve been investing for decades and still donāt have a clue.
Clues are hard to see in the road ahead, butā¦ when looking in your rear-view they are usually pretty easy to spot.
