Among other things, I help my mother with her finances. She lives about 3 hours from me, in a different state. Recently, she started receiving mail, specifically credit card applications to my address. How or why is this happening, is it a problem, should I do something about it and if so, what and how?

Perhaps you provided your address for any of your mother’s accounts and that information was then shared with their third-party marketing partners? You can stop the credit card offers at [optoutprescreen.com](http://optoutprescreen.com) or by calling 1-888-567-8688.
