# Unsolicited Netspend Card

I started receiving unsolicited emails from Netspend and then one that said my card was on the way and advising me to activate it. Sure enough it showed up in the mail.

I of course will not activate it but find this very dangerous since mail theft is rampant now.

If you have not already done so consider doing the following to reduce the number of unsolicited credit card offers that you receive. Go to [OptOutPrescreen.com](http://OptOutPrescreen.com) or call 1-888-567-8688 to remove your name from the lists supplied to credit card companies
