Oh so true! If not for my wife’s learning how to budget and really save with lessons from the Chinese when we lived in Taipei, I would be in trouble. ---

Many times I ask older Wal-Mart cashiers why they are working. Invariably it is because they need to pay off credit cards, and/or found their retirement income did not keep pace with the cost of living.
