We have a brand new state of the art gym with track, courts, and pools. And we pay nothing because we have SilverSneakers.

While that’s nice, all I can think is that many kids in many schools don’t get anything like that.

Some Medicare supplemental and Medicare Advantage policies include the Silver Sneakers program. You can check with your insurance carrier or on the Silver Sneakers web site to check your eligibility. AARP United Health has set up a separate similar plan called Renew Active.  
The cost of the program is covered by your premiums. Each time you go the a participating fitness center the insurance company pays for the visit up to a monthly limit.
