NO… No other accounts are required. It is a basic savings account. There is no “introductory” rate or a “limited time” or any other provisional rates involved. The only other thing that I found was they allowed only 6 withdrawals per month. You can have an unlimited amount of deposits. The only way to deposit is through a funds transfer that you can initiate WIINGS ACCOUNT.TH THEM FROM YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT PAGE FOR FREE.

I just checked it again and the interest rate is 3.68%…with an APR 3.79%…I can’t remember what the difference in the two actually mean/are…but I’m at the age that I don’t even remember what I had for breakfast…
Regards,
Thank you!
Join the club! I will go have a look at it. 3.68 is better than nothing and not having to tie up your savings for long periods of time.
Thanks again =)
Synchrony at this time is 3.75 savings and 14 month CD 4.60
I’m giving CIT Bank a test drive. Their online savings account is currently paying 4.05%, with no strings attached, as far as I can tell. I’ve seen it near the top of the list on bankrate.com for a while. We’ll see how it goes. If anyone has had any negative experiences with them would you please let me know.
I’m ready to close my Capital One accounts. Yuck.
Fidelity MM is better for me and I love T-Bills
With a qualifying direct deposit of any amount, SoFi offers 3.75% on savings and 2.5% on checking. Who else offers that crazy amount on checking?
Thank you!
I have a savings account at metabank and it offers 4%. It raised a little bit compared to last year. Generally, it’s a good bank, but I had some troubles with transferring money. I even contacted metabank customer service for a couple of times because I couldn’t solve my problem by my own.
Thank you!
I’ve been with CIT since the end of December. So far so good with their savings account. I was able to setup ACH with my other accounts so I can easily transfer money. I chose them because of their % and the mention on Clark.com article. I remember the article talking about max yield was a good reason to go with CIT. Here is a similar article on Clark.com.
