We are wondering if anyone else has had issues with appliances installed in new construction DR Horton homes? My son just (June 28) bought a brand new DRHorton house in Greenville, SC. There are 2 serious safety issues with the stove. My 10-month-old granddaughter just seriously cut her fingers on the edge of pull-out drawer and they have learned the hard way not to touch the (glass) door of the oven when it is in use. They are working with DRHorton for a resolution and I’ve reached out to Whirlpool as well. Do they just have a ‘lemon’ or are there serious issues with this line of stoves? (I don’t know which model except that it is natural gas.)
