# Navy Federal cash rewards plus

I used this card for several years as my main credit card. It was simple to manage and the customer service was excellent.

However, last year I switched to the $49 / year Navy Federal Flagship Rewards due to the Amazon Prime membership rebate perk. I had discontinued my Prime membership due to the high cost, but with the rebate I am essentially paying $49 a year for Prime and getting “free” TSA precheck as well.

For those who never personally served, note you may be eligible to join Navy Federal through a family relationship such as a parent even if they are not members.
