# Lidl grocery stores

What is your opinion on Lidl stores? I went to one for the first time last week and was like, meh. I can handle the warehouse no frills merchandising style but the organization was flea market level random IMHO.

We go to Aldi or Lidl when we can, and considering the savings, should go more often! At Aldi recently, 5 items (12 pack coke, dozen eggs, can of peaches, bag of popcorn, and box of cereal) was $17.94 and the same items at my local supermarket was $25.79.

I think you would get over the random organization if you went a few times and learned the layout of the store.

They don’t have everything, so you’d still have to shop elsewhere.

Unfortunately for us, the nearest Aldi or Lidl is 45 minutes away, which is why we don’t go more often. They’re building more stores, so one can hope…

I’ve been to an Aldi’s a few times and if there was one where I live I’d definitely be in there at least once a week. Never been in a Lidl’s.

We have many Aldis stores in the Metro Detroit area - LOve shopping there. Question - where are all the Lidi stores people mention?.
