Yeah, it’s a sound card especially if you’re paying with PayPal for that 3% back. Other than that it’s not that special considering the 3% foreign transaction fee. One glaring problem: it’s issued by Synchrony. They don’t play nice with their consumers and are known to close cards without much reason or warning; especially if you have multiple cards open with them. I’ve had my Venmo card (also issued by Synchrony) for a while and I’ve had no troubles, but there are plenty of horror stories out there if you look for them. I’d go for it as long as you’re not planning on using it while traveling and are willing to accept the small risk of Synchrony suddenly closing your line of credit. ---
