Today US Treasury announced a fixed rate for I-Bonds of 0.40%, a total rate fixed + variable of 6.89%

The rate had been 0% since May 1 2020, and it has been quite low on average since 2008.

The question for me… buy in January 2023 or wait until a possible raise in May 2023? I guess we just have to wait for what TIPSWATCH says
