# Greenwave Energy

Is that company a scam? It claims to save you money by putting you on a fixed rate for gas that is cheaper than PG&E.

My elderly grandmother just signed up for it and I want to try and immediately cancel. However, I figure it doesn’t hurt to ask first but it sounds pretty scammy to me and the reviews for it it are all pretty bad.

I can’t find much recent but did find this on reddit (which should be taken wtih a grain of salt)

But there was a news article from 2018 that seems to describe something very similar
