# Free antivirus for Windows 10

Kroger’s software will not work properly for me on Linux with Firefox, Chromium, or Vivaldi. Because I will be using Windows 10, please recommend a free antivirus application. Being a Linux user, I cannot bring myself to pay software.
I have read that antivirus software is not necessary with Windows 10 because the built-in security is so good. What do you think?

I have been using the bilt-in antivirus in Windows 10… No Problems.
On my Windows 7, I use the free avast… but do not like the nagging even though it does not happen a lot.
