That’s the smartest thing you could do hun. I spent 35 years in the legal profession and there’s nothing worse than somebody trying to do stuff on wills and Estates by themselves

There are endless horror stories about people doing just that…
Once we talked to the estate attorney and discovered all the steps that have to happen, and in the proper order, we decided the fee for them to take care of it was well worth it.

In your situation…probably the best choice…it keeps you from being the bad guy !
If you mess up you are screwed.
If the attorney messes up you can sue him and or his firm for legal malpractice.
That money can be disbursed easily. Btw i would suggest you to contact a lawyer, I mistake can cost you $$$$$$$$$$$$$
