# Car rental check saved me money

I followed Mr Genious’ advice and rechecked my car rental prior to my Wichita trip! Before:$359 for the weekend. Checked in Monday: $225 (and with Costco travel, too)! Thank you Clark and team! You are a genious any day of the week—especially Friday’s!

I saved $500 on a minivan rental in Colorado by going through Costco Travel several years ago. Now I always check them before booking elsewhere.

USAA also heavily discounts rental cars.
