# CapitalOne replacing your Quick Silver cards Visa/MC with Discover!

Just had a chat with CapOne. They recently replaced our QS Visa card with a DISCOVER card! No way to switch back. Discover is not accepted everywhere as Visa/MC I have already found out. Which sucks. In addition on Nov1 2026 they will replace the QS Master Card with a Discover card and no chance of sticking with MC there either. I only had the MC from them because they cancelled the agreement with Walmart.

I will keep the new plagued cards from CapitalOne but use them rarely just to keep history going. I will be using another brand card I already have as my primary.

This is terrible. I have the savor, I wonder if they will do that to me too, I will not use discover, how did you find out?

When I first started to use it online and the vendor’s form said they could not take Discover! I called and I asked if I could switch back to QS but they said no. I told them I would be using a different card.

Yes, I have 3 citi cards and will use those if they give me discover
