Alaska and United are the only two US carriers who fly the 737 Max 9. Just avoid booking on these two airlines until this is corrected.

Years ago, when I travelled a lot for my job, I tended to agree with the saying “If it ain’t Boeing, I ain’t going”. Then they merged with McDonnell Douglas and replaced the execs that were focused on engineering with a bunch of bean counters looking to improve shareholder value. And then there were issues. With the Dreamliner batteries (aircraft grounded) to the MCAS (all MAX aircaft grounded) to the doors flying off the Max 9. I hate to say it but though I rarely travel these days, I will try to book on anything but a Boeing aircraft.

The 737-900 has the same type of plug as well.
