You must be referring to a system that uses solar panels to charge batteries which in turn provides 110 & 240v AC using an inverter. Technically a electric generator requires a motive force like a gas, diesel or steam engine or a turbine driven by water or gas.
Here’s one advertised as a “Solar Generator” but it’s really a solar-charged battery/inverter unit:

I don’t know what Clark uses but there is also the Ecoflow (Like the Delta 3+). I don’t think the Ecoflow I mentioned does 240 volt (2 phase).
Personally I have an EG4 6000XP with 3 batteries and solar panels. It has the capability of 240 volt (2 phase) but I don’t use that functions. It is not cost effective for me to run the dryer or stove off solar because i would need more batteries and more solar panels. I just use the utility for that and only run then during the cheapest utility rate (which for us is 9am to 5pm). I have a propane generator for backup that can charge the batteries. Why don’t I use the generator to run the house instead? Because I would be running the generator all day while the batteries can charge fast and then I stop the generator. I also changed the water heater to on-demand propane with its own tank.
I am pretty low usage and in fact, right now at 8pm I am drawing only 800 watts. and it will drop lower when I head to bed.
