# Anyone sign up for the gas company offered house maintenance plans? Georgia

From Georgia here and it’s time for the annual gas plan renewal. I see the gas suppliers have started offering these maintenance plans on your furnace, a/c, water heaters. Has anyone signed up for this and actually used it?

I already know that most of the home warranties (looking at you American HomeShield) are mainly selling snake oil. I’m just wondering if the gas companies are just offering this as a gimmick.
